A bawdy video of a high school secretary in Quebec City has received unwanted attention from students. The secretary’s clandestine life was laid bare when a student asked for her autograph after spotting her in a porn video. Despite the secretary’s attempts to keep her sexual antics secret, students forwarded the video links to each other over the Internet. School officials acknowledge that the employee has not done anything illegal, but the board views her activities as contrary to values taught at school. The secretary is awaiting the board’s decision regarding her employment.

Teenagers in Scotland will soon receive lessons on sleep. The charity Sleep Scotland has produced a teaching package designed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of sleep. While the charity recommends that teenagers get nine hours of sleep each night, Sleep Scotland reports that students often don’t because they watch TV, and use computers and mobile phones late into the evening. Lack of sleep is linked to failure at school, increased risk of depression and obesity.
